Samples are the cornerstone of arguably my favorite genre of music, hip-hop. Today, we are paying homage to the songs that were the basis of songs that changed music forever. However, my inspiration for many of these songs also comes from genres of all kinds, how many can you recognize? This episode will not include the more jazzy/instrumental samples, but I can make that its own show upon request ;) p.s. yes, there are two Isley brothers' songs in here, no Biggie
